We reserve the right to determine what content is suitable for publication on our website. We will not accept content determined to be overly controversial, having a questionable legal status, or anything not consistent with the nature of the website.  Justfog

Articles containing content relating to the following topics will not be accepted:

  1. Hacking/Cracking Content – Examples of hacking/cracking content include:

    1. Black Hat Hacker – Violates computer security with malicious intent.
    2. Cracking / Unlocking cell phones – Violates mobile phone network providers Terms of Service via the removal of the operating system.
    3. Homebrew – Reusing a game console system to run software not authorized by company, violating copy protection and code signing measures.
  3. Bomb Creation – Any content that promotes or explains how to create a bomb, explosive or similar device is prohibited.

    Examples of bomb creation include:

    • Bomb types
    • Home-made explosives
    • Bomb/Explosives how-to articles and websites
  4. Support for Terrorism/ Radicalism/ Religious Fanaticism – Any content that advocates violence, discrimination or provides negative commentary against any group, nationality, race, person or organization is prohibited.

     

    Examples of advocating violence or negative commentary against a group include:

    • Race, ethnicity, or national origin
    • Religion
    • Disability
    • Age
    • Gender or gender identity
    • Sexual orientation
  5. Illicit Drugs or Drug Paraphernalia – Any content that promotes or advocates the use of drugs or drug paraphernalia is not allowed in articles. We do allow informational content on medicinal marijuana.

    Examples of illicit drug and drug paraphernalia include:

    • Marijuana, cocaine, heroin, poppers, ecstasy, and methamphetamines
    • Ephedra/ephedrine
    • Herbal drugs such as magic mushrooms, opium, salvia
    • Illicit drug paraphernalia; including bongs, syringes, hashish pipes, crack cocaine pipes, cocaine freebase kits, water pipes, vaporizers, and roach clips
    • Content on how to pass drug tests

    Examples of acceptable content in this area include:

    • Educational material concerning medical marijuana
    • Hemp products
    • Vaporizers used in the context of aromatherapy devices or humidifiers
  6. Steroid Use or Advocacy – We do not allow content that promotes the use of steroids for muscle building or any unhealthy use of steroids.

     

    Examples of Steroid usage include:

    • Anabolic Steroids or other synthetic hormones resembling testosterone used to promote the growth of muscle.
  7. Weapon/ Firearms/ Ammunition/ Balisongs/ Butterfly Knives or Brass Knuckles – Any content that promotes, advocates, or describes the use of weapons for any purpose other than legal hunting activities will not be allowed. Article content that discusses or reviews hunting weapons is acceptable.

    Examples of prohibited weapons include:

    • Butterfly knives, balisongs, shivs
    • Guns, gun parts and hardware
    • Ammunition
    • Brass knuckles, throwing stars

    Examples of acceptable weapons-related products include:

    • Weapons content concerning use in martial arts
    • Content related to weapons used for hunting
    • Weapons content NOT advocating any hate or violence
    • Replica and antique weapons, E.g. swords, bo staffs
    • Airsoft guns
    • Paintball guns
    • Stun Guns and Tasers
  8. Violations of laws, content that is defamatory, libelous, or infringes on the legal rights of others.

    Articles may not contain content that directly attacks against any individual, organization or business. Articles may not contain content that is insulting and/or degrading in tone, or may be considered libelous in nature.

    Libel – A false and malicious publication printed for the purpose of defaming a living person.

    Defamation – False or unjustified injury of the good reputation of another, as by slander or libel.

  10. Hard Alcohol/Tobacco-Related Products or Prescription Drugs – The promotion of these items is not allowed.
    1. Articles may not contain content that promotes or advocates the use of hard alcohol and/or encourages excessive drinking of alcohol. Content about wine and beer is allowed as long as it doesn’t promote excessive drinking.

      Examples of prohibited hard alcohol promotion or usage include:

      • Binge drinking
      • Recipes for hard alcoholic beverages
      • Drinking games that promote excessive drinking
      • Links to websites offering hard alcohol products

      Examples of acceptable alcohol content include:

      • Home brewing beer or wine how-to and supplies
      • Recipes that use alcohol as one ingredient, not the major ingredient
      • Storage, E.g. wine racks and wine storage
    2. Any content that promotes or encourages the use of tobacco or tobacco related products is prohibited.

      Examples of prohibited tobacco or tobacco related products include:

      • Cigarettes, cigars, tobacco, tobacco alternatives (such as kretek and cloves)
      • The description or promotion of any inhalant paraphernalia such as pipes, hookahs, shisha pipes, water pipes, bongs, rolling paper, or vaporizer
      • Article content or links that promote or describe the use of electronic cigarettes
    3. Articles may contain information about a prescription drug, but may not promote the medication. Authors may not use the name of a prescription drug in the title of an article or link to online pharmacies or other websites which sell prescription-strength drugs.

      Examples of prohibited prescription drug content include:

      • Prescription drug names in the article title
      • Injectable HGH content in the title and/or available for purchase on the link
      • Promotional content of a prescription drug
      • Linking to an online pharmacy

      Examples of acceptable prescription drug content include:

      • Non-promotional descriptions of prescription drugs and uses
      • Non-pharmaceutical products and their uses
      • Herbal supplements available for purchase on link
  11. Online Gambling – Articles may not link to a site offering live online gambling services or online casinos.

    Examples of prohibited casino and gambling content:

    • Promoting or linking to a live online casino/gambling site, including: sports betting, bingo, card games, craps, lotto, poker, roulette, Texas hold ’em, slot machines

    Examples of acceptable casino and gambling content in articles and in links:

    • Casino/gambling establishment reviews
    • Betting strategies, bluffing, gambling tips, gambling secrets, handicapping
    • General information about bingo, card games, craps, lotto, poker, roulette, Texas hold ’em, slot machines, etc. that is not promotional of online gambling
